Remote Access
Not diligent about sending your information monthly? Let us do the work for you! With our new remote access program, we can connect to your computer to retrieve the necessary information from your shop management program. There are a lot of similar programs that use this technology to gather information from your computer and you may already be using one. This program will make AutoAlert virtually "hands free" for you!
Installer requirements:
1. Must have an internet connection on the same computer as the shop management program.
2. Must have an email account set up.
3. Must be using a program that we currently extract information from such as Mitchell, ShopKey, AllData, AutoTracker, and others.
Once we receive the signed Release Agreement, we will send you a link that will download the utility on your computer. Via phone with AutoAlert, we will set up an access code if there is no Windows password on computer. We will need the user ID and password if your computer is set up with logins. The process takes only minutes!
Once utility is run, we will be able to remotely access the computer to run our extraction process. There is a box displayed on the screen that lets you know we have logged in. We gain control of the computer while we do this, but you can regain control by moving the mouse. Take the first step and print and sign the Release Agreement via this link!
